NOTES

This was a definite impulse buy, spurred by a single, adorable photo. I could lie and say that this stuffed toy is for a friend’s child, but I won’t. It’s for me. Mr. Panda, as I now call my knitted friend, is a friendly face in my little hobby cubby.

MODIFICATIONS

  • *Used magic loop method and 32" circular needle, sz.3 for the body of Mr. Panda; marking where the different "DPN needles" would start with stitch markers.

  • For red sweater (try 1)- made gauge; neckline fit, but sweater body was too big

FINAL THOUGHTS

Hot & Cold Hand Dyed / Handspun "Eric's Hat"

Fiber 64 Count Undyed Merino / Paradise Fibers
Dye Greener Shades Red / Blue / Yellow
Yarn Merino | DK to Light Worsted 183 yds
Needles US 8 5.0 mm 40" Circular

NOTES

Sometimes my “wearing habits” are different than my making habits. I love knitting socks, but for a long time I refused to knit ankle socks. I just didn’t see the point. After making one pair; however, I realized that they quickly became my most worn pair. Sometimes my feet get cold, but I don’t want a lot of fabric up my leg. Enter ankle length socks.

Ravelry Notes
